I didn’t do one when I first played but I sang Silent Night when I came back this season

Earliest memory is wearing my first pair of football boots to bed when I was five

What’s the biggest match you’ve played in?
Southern League play-off final for St Albans City at Chesham United (won 3-1)
You’re hosting a dinner party, which four guests would you invite?
The cast of League of Their Own. Flintoff, Whitehall, Cordon and Redknapp. Plus I’d have to have Dennis Bergkamp as well.
What’s the best thing about Harpenden?
The progress the club has made in the last 10 years on and off the pitch
What do you do for a living?
Director of sport at a secondary school
What are the best and worst things about step five football?
Best – the standard of pitches, playing styles and players has improved. Worst – I’ve known some players at this level to have agents, which blows my mind

A full Clarence Park [St Albans City] was pretty special
Best game you’ve ever attended
Watching Bergkamp, Henry, Pires, Vieira etc play when they went unbeaten was great as a big Arsenal fan
Which of your teammates have the best dress sense?
Eman’s up there for both. What he wears looks good on him but would look terrible on anyone else
After football, what other sport are you best at?
Cricket. I played county cricket for eight years
What’s your personal goal for the 2023-24 season?
To help Harpenden finish in the play-offs and contribute with as many goals and assists as possible
